Bitcoin's illiquid supply reached a record high of 74%
According to data tracked by ETC Group and Glassnode, illiquid entities currently hold 14.61 million BTC, equivalent to 74% of Bitcoin's total circulating supply (19.75 million). André Dragosch, head of research at ETC Group, said the data represents an all-time high for Bitcoin's illiquid supply, suggesting that the supply shock triggered by the halving is actually intensifying. This will give Bitcoin and other cryptoassets an increasing boost in the coming months.
